  • 1/4 cup flour or cornstarch (for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode and add 2 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Sear the beef chunks for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add onions and garlic to the pot; sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping any browned bits from the pot.
  5. Return the beef to the pot; seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 30 minutes.
  6. Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
  7. Remove the beef; thicken gravy by combining flour/cornstarch with water and stirring into the pot over 'Sauté' mode until bubbling (about 5 minutes).
  8. Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles.
