  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 cup chopped Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples
  • 8 oz cream cheese (for frosting)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped apples.
  6. Divide the batter among the liners and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool completely before making the frosting. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
