Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter (or coconut oil) with honey (or maple syrup) until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries into the wet mixture.
  5. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
