  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup toasted breadcrumbs
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until smooth (1-2 minutes). Gradually whisk in milk until thickened.
  3. Lower heat and stir in cheddar cheese, mustard powder, and paprika until melted.
  4. Fold in pulled pork until well combined.
  5. Mix cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce and pour into a greased baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs.
