  • 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers (mixed colors)
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese or 1 cup Cheez Whiz
  • 4 sub rolls
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Slice beef thinly against the grain. Also, slice onions and bell peppers into thin strips.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  4. Push veggies aside; add sliced beef to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned but juicy.
  5. Mix everything together; top with provolone or drizzle with Cheez Whiz until melted.
  6. Fill sub rolls generously with the beef mixture and serve hot.
