Ingredients

  • Hoagie rolls
  • Thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • Sautéed onions
  • Green bell peppers
  • Provolone cheese
  • Garlic butter
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté diced onions and green bell peppers until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add thinly sliced ribeye steak to the skillet and cook until just browned, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  4. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  5. Layer provolone cheese over the warm steak mixture and let it melt slightly.
  6. Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise without cutting through completely. Spread garlic butter on both sides and fill with the cheesy steak mixture.
