  • 1 egg mixed with 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using store-bought dough, let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
  3. Divide dough into equal pieces, roll into ropes, and shape into hearts.
  4. Boil water and baking soda in a large pot; drop pretzels in for 30 seconds before placing on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Brush each pretzel with the egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Melt chocolate chips until smooth; dip pretzels halfway in chocolate and decorate with sprinkles while warm.
