  • 8 oz. fresh button or cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets; slice the mushrooms.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add cauliflower florets to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until golden brown and tender-crisp.
  4. Stir in sliced mushrooms along with salt and pepper; cook for another 5 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  5. Mix everything well and let it cook for an additional 2 minutes for flavors to meld.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
