Ingredients

  • Ribeye or Sirloin Steak
  • Yukon Gold or Baby Potatoes
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Fresh Thyme or Rosemary
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Gather ingredients; finely chop garlic and herbs.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper; let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. Boil diced potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (10-15 minutes). Drain well.
  4. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 3-5 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  5. Add minced garlic and fresh herbs to the pan, basting the steak with melted garlic butter.
  6. In another pan, sauté drained potatoes in leftover garlic butter until crispy on all sides.
  7. Serve steak slices alongside crispy potatoes, drizzled with extra garlic butter if desired.
