  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 3 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
  2. Heat a splash of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to create the teriyaki sauce.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
