- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced
- 1/2 cup onions, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and bell peppers until translucent. Add ground meat and cook until browned; season with Italian herbs.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs with half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix in cooked spaghetti until well combined.
- Grease a pie dish and layer half of the spaghetti mixture as the base. Top with the meat mixture and marinara sauce, then add remaining spaghetti on top.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
