- 2 cups Gruyère cheese, grated

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté the leeks until soft and translucent (5-7 minutes).
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Place torn bread pieces in the baking dish. Layer with sautéed leeks and half of the Gruyère cheese.
