  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries (mashed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
  3. Whisk in sugar, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently mash fresh raspberries in a small bowl, leaving some whole for swirling.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan, dollop with mashed raspberries, swirl gently, then pour remaining batter and top with more raspberry dollops.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  8. Let cool before slicing into squares.
