  • 1 cup crushed soft pretzels (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to about 1 inch thick.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one with whisked eggs, and one with crushed pretzels mixed with panko.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, dip into the egg, then coat with the pretzel-panko mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.
