  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp bourbon
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, bourbon, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the glaze over them. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place marinated salmon skin-side down on it. Drizzle additional glaze on top.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
