  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup whole milk (or plant-based alternative)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup fried onions (divided)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and prepare the green beans by trimming the ends and cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In the Instant Pot, combine green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper until well mixed.
  3. Secure the lid and set to pressure cook on high for 4 minutes with the steam valve closed.
  4. Once done, carefully perform a quick release to release steam.
  5. Stir in half of the fried onions into the mixture before transferring it to an oven-safe dish.
  6. Top with remaining fried onions and broil at 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
