- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (30ml)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (5ml)
Instructions
- Peel and slice the ripe bananas into small chunks. Spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.
- In a blender, combine the frozen banana pieces, coconut milk, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
- If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts after blending for added texture.
- Transfer the mixture into an airtight container and smooth out the top with a spatula. Freeze for an additional 4 hours or until firm enough to scoop.
