Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, mix the eggs, vegetable oil, molasses, vanilla extract, and warm water until smooth.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir gently until mixed—do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
