  • 1 lb white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Sriracha (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, cumin, paprika, and salt.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat (about 350°F).
  3. Coat fish fillets in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown (3-4 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
  4. Warm tortillas in a skillet or over flame.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing fried fish on tortillas, topping with cabbage, drizzling lime juice and creamy sauce.
