Instructions

  1. Rinse jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine rinsed rice with 1 cup water and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat to low; stir in 1 cup coconut milk and 2 tablespoons brown sugar until dissolved.
  4. Cover and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
