  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream the melted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing continuously; then fold in sour cream and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for the swirl mixture.
  6. Layer half the batter in the pan, sprinkle half the swirl mixture on top, add remaining batter, followed by the last of the swirl mix.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes; let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
