Ingredients
- 3–4 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth yet slightly chunky.
- Stir in melted butter, followed by granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually fold into the wet mixture without overmixing.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Add remaining batter and top with more cinnamon-sugar.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before removing from the pan.
