Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup melted unsalted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix whole milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; lumps are okay.
  5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon for topping.
  6. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture. Add remaining batter and top with leftover cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes until golden brown; a toothpick should come out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
