  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup tahini
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Water (to desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by mixing yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Coat the chicken thoroughly and let it marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (400°F). If using an oven, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cook the marinated chicken on the grill or baking sheet for about 6 minutes per side until caramelized and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
