  • 2 medium carrots (diced)
  • 2 stalks celery (diced)
  • 1 cup frozen peas

  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (2 sheets)
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the chicken and dicing the vegetables.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent, then add chicken cubes until browned.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the mixture; stir well. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until thickened.
  4. Stir in carrots, celery, peas, thyme, salt, and pepper; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Roll out puff pastry on a baking dish filled with the chicken mixture; cut slits in pastry for ventilation and brush with egg wash.
