- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry sheets
- 1 large egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the seasoned chicken breasts in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked (about 7-8 minutes per side). Allow them to cool slightly before shredding.
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out thawed puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into squares.
