Description

  • 2 cups fresh pitted cherries (about 300g)
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (500g)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (60ml)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (15ml)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (5ml)

Instructions

  1. Wash and pit the cherries, then slice them in half.
  2. In a blender, combine the cherries, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for about 20-25 minutes until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
