- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning (approximately 1 oz)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup salsa
- Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
- Green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes), drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat until cooked through. Stir in taco seasoning and salsa; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in cream cheese until melted. Fold in half of the shredded cheese.
- Stuff each shell with the filling and place in a greased baking dish. Top with remaining shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
