  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups tart apples (Granny Smith), diced
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in sour cream and cinnamon.
  4. Gently fold in diced apples; pour over the crust and smooth out evenly.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until edges are set; cool completely before refrigerating for at least two hours.
  6. Slice into bars and serve with caramel sauce drizzled on top.
