  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package instructions and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Once cooled slightly, poke holes across the surface of the cake using a wooden spoon handle.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk until thick; pour over the warm cake allowing it to seep into the holes.
  5. For ganache, heat heavy cream and chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth; pour over the pudding-filled cake.
