BBQ Chicken Mac and Cheese is a delightful fusion of smoky barbecue flavors and creamy cheese, all wrapped in tender pasta.

- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Cook the elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then grill or pan-sear for 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Mix in cheddar cheese until melted.
- In a bowl, combine pasta, shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, and cheese sauce; stir well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with panko breadcrumbs, and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
