  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme), chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F) or oven to 400°F.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade; discard leftover liquid. Grill for 6-7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F. If baking, place on a lined baking sheet and cook for approximately 25 minutes.
  5. Let the chicken rest for five minutes before slicing; serve topped with freshly chopped herbs.
