- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch baking pan by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Gradually mix in flour and baking soda until just combined. Fold in half of the chocolate chips gently.
- In another bowl, melt butter and stir in cocoa until smooth. Mix in eggs, then add sugar and flour until blended.
- Spread half of the cookie dough in the pan, pour brownie batter on top, then dollop remaining cookie dough over it.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are firm but center is slightly gooey. Cool before slicing.
