  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix in flour and baking soda until just combined.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and salted caramel sauce until smooth.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets; create an indentation in each ball. Fill with cheesecake mixture before topping with another dough ball.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
