  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar mix (1 tbsp sugar + 1 tbsp cinnamon)
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Honey (optional for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Slice the apple thinly and wedge the brie cheese.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar until combined.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each sourdough slice. On the unbuttered side, layer brie, apple slices, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Top with another slice of bread.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill sandwiches buttered-side down until golden brown (3-4 minutes). Flip and grill the other side until melted and golden (another 3-4 minutes).
  5. Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, slice diagonally, and serve warm.
