- 12 large jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Mix the cooked beef with ricotta, ½ cup mozzarella, Italian seasoning, and salt.
- Stuff each shell with the meat mixture and place in a baking dish lined with marinara sauce.
- Pour remaining marinara over the shells and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
