  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Gradually add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until fully combined.
  6. Fold in chopped pistachios.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Mix honey and powdered sugar to create the glaze while the cake cools.
  9. Drizzle glaze over the cooled cake and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
