  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 3 cups thick tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend
  • ½ cup sour cream (for serving)
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and black beans; heat through for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the tortilla chips, followed by half of the beef mixture, salsa, and cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
