Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, poppy seeds, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, lemon zest, and juice until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about three-quarters full and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
