- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) fire-roasted tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth (low-sodium)
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: 1 can (15 oz) black beans or pinto beans
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat; add ground beef and brown thoroughly.
- Once browned, add chopped onions and sauté until translucent; then stir in minced garlic until fragrant.

- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
