- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in olive oil, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated chicken on a greased baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Whisk in heavy cream until slightly thickened. Stir in dried basil and lemon juice.
- Serve crispy chicken drizzled with garlic sauce.
