- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup fresh asparagus, chopped
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add penne and cook until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 2. Sauté the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice.
- 3. Add Garlic & Mushrooms: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until mushrooms are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- 4. Combine Asparagus & Cream: Add chopped asparagus and heavy cream to the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes until asparagus is slightly tender.
- 5. Mix in Cheese & Pasta: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Gently fold in cooked penne pasta until well coated.
