  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup hot honey sauce (prepared with the following)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In one bowl, beat eggs. In another, mix flour with salt and pepper. In a third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs with spices.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in eggs, then flour, followed by panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, chili flakes, and garlic powder until warmed through.
  5. Place breaded chicken on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Drizzle hot honey sauce over the chicken immediately before serving.
